Women's Basketball Falls to Endicott in Florida

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team was defeated 68-43 by Endicott College (Mass.) on Wednesday afternoon.

Kalamazoo trailed 17-13 after the first quarter and 27-23 at halftime. Endicott outscored Kalamazoo 24-8 in the third quarter and 17-12 in the fourth.

The Gulls shot 36.1 percent overall while limiting the Hornets to 26.6 percent. Kalamazoo outrebounded Endicott 54-45 overall, 21-16 on the offensive end. Kalamazoo turned the ball over 25 times compared to 13 by Endicott.

Kaelyn Arlington led the Hornets with 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots.

Ruby Hogan scored nine points with seven rebounds and three assists. Jackie Brines scored nine points with six rebounds. 

Kalamazoo faces Clarkson on Thursday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Hornets' final game in The Sunshine State.
