Tim Hollenbeck joined the Kalamazoo College women's basketball program as an assistant coach for the 2011-12 after assisting with the Hornet men’s program in 2010-11.
Hollenbeck began coaching basketball in 2006 at summer basketball camps while also volunteering with the Police Athletic League (PAL's) in East Lansing. In 2007, Hollenbeck assisted the Jackson Creek Middle School boys' basketball team in Indiana. He also assisted the Indiana University women's basketball team for two years, helping set up and organize the women's scouting program. The Hoosiers were 42-22 during his time with the program.
Tim transferred to Western Michigan University in 2009 and worked with the Broncos' women's basketball program until joining the Kalamazoo College men’s basketball staff in 2010. During his time at Western, Tim completed levels one through three of the Coaching Accreditation Program.
Tim is currently a student at Western Michigan University, majoring in secondary education for math and physical education.
