MARSHALL - The Kalamazoo College women's golf team is in 17th place after the first day of the two-day Olivet Invitational at The Medalist Golf Club.
Kalamazoo shot 426 as a team, one stroke ahead of Albion and 39 strokes behind Wis.-Whitewater in 16th place.
Sarah Manski and Jenna Wood each shot 99 to lead the Hornets.
Marisa Oleski (106) and Megan Riley (122) rounded out the top four for Kalamazoo.
Saturday's final round begins at 9 a.m.
