ALBION, Mich. - Darby Scott broke her own school record with a 74 at Duck Lake in the season's first MIAA Jamboree hosted by Albion.
Scott tied for second overall while leading the Hornets with a 38-36 (74). Scott and Kristyn Buhl shared the previous school record of 75.
Kalamazoo finished ninth overall with a team score of 355.
Sydney Pickell shot 81 while Ella Szczublewski shot 90. Caroline Norton came in at 110 in her first match with the Hornets.
Kalamazoo is back in action Sept. 23 at the Cleary Invitational at Mystic Creek.
