CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team played its second to last game of its California spring trip Wednesday evening but the Hornets were unable to come away with a win dropping the contest to Pomona-Pitzer, 14-3.
Anika Sproull got Kalamazoo on the board with 14:30 remaining in the first half. Sproull also added K's second goal of the game in the second half with 7:11 remaining.
Her season goal total now sits at 13.
Vethania Stavropolous added the Hornets' final goal of the game with 1:21 to play.
Katie Johnson recorded eight saves in goal.
Kalamazoo will conclude its spring trip on March 25 when the Hornets take on Whittier College. Game time is set for 7 p.m. EDT.
