NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College women's lacrosse team lost 21-13 at North Central College on Saturday.
Kalamazoo scored the first two goals of the contest, but fell behind following four straight goals by the host Cardinals.
North Central led 9-6 at halftime.
Kalamazoo was down 11-9 early in the second half, but another run of four straight goals by North Central was too much for the Hornets too overcome.
North Central held a 29-28 edge in shots.
Amanda Moss and Rose Bogard each scored three goals to lead Kalamazoo.
Mackenzie Maiorano and Lilly Baumann each scored twice.
Kalamazoo is back in action Sunday at Chicago.
