Emily Heckendorf joined the Kalamazoo College women’s lacrosse program in the fall of 2016.
As a student-athlete at Concordia University-Wisconsin, Heckendorf led Concordia to the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference playoffs in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and capped off her career with a tournament championship in 2015. She was a two-time All-Conference selection during her four year career as a starter.
More recently, Heckendorf served as the junior varsity women’s lacrosse coach at Mattawan High School in 2016 and also helped coach the Western Michigan club team back to the playoffs for the first time in six years.
She currently resides in Kalamazoo and is on track to receive her master’s degree in sport management from Western Michigan in the spring of 2017.
