The Kalamazoo College women's soccer team was unable to gather its first win of the season Friday night in a weather delayed match against DePauw University. The Tigers defeated the Hornets 4-1.
DePauw's Stephanie Martin recorded a first half hat trick giving the Tigers control at the half with a 3-0 lead. Alyson Marzonie added the fourth goal for the Tigers in the 65th minute.
The Hornets got themselves on the scoreboard in the 70th minute when Christina Dandar slotted a ball past the Tigers' keeper.
With kickoff taking place slightly after 7:30 p.m., the game finished in just over four hours.
Kalamazoo will look for it first win of the season tomorrow night against another quality side in No. 4 ranked Illinois Wesleyan. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
