KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Kalamazoo College's Allie Brodsky was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Central Region third team for her play and efforts throughout the 2015 women's soccer season.

Brodsky, who was a staple for the Hornets in the center of midfield and at centerback this past season, recorded one goal and three assists in 2015. Her lone goal was an important one, which proved to be the game-winning goal against then ranked No. 24 Hope College.

Brodsky also played and started in all 20 games for Kalamazoo.

"Throughout the year Allie was one of our most consistent performers," Kalamazoo Head Coach Bryan Goyings said. "She is a tremendous competitor and it is great to see her recognized as one of the top midfielders in the region."

On top of her All-Region honors, Brodsky was also named an All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association first team performer at the conclusion of the season. The junior from West Bloomfield, Mich. earned MIAA first team honors in 2014 as well.
