Kalamazoo College's Colleen Orwin was selected as the MIAA Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week on Monday.
Orwin, a sophomore from Portage (Portage Northern HS), won all four of her events for the Hornets Saturday in their 155-145 dual meet loss to Hope. She set a Hope pool record in the 400 individual medley in 4:43.10, won the 100 butterfly (:58.97) and 200 butterfly (2:11.12), and swam on Kalamazoo's winning 200 medley relay team.
Orwin is being honored as Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and third time in her career.
Kalamazoo College returns to action at the Calvin Invitational Dec. 4-6.
