GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team finished fifth at the Calvin Invitational on Saturday.
Kalamazoo scored 397 points and was edged out of fourth place by just 1.5 points as Calvin finished with 398.5. Grand Valley finished first (1066.5) followed by Northern Michigan (843) and Findlay (467).
Madeline Woods finished third overall in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 386.70.
The women's 400 free relay team finished third at 3:34.16 (Hannah Olsen, Colleen Orwin, Marley Walter, Tristyn Edsall). The 200 medley relay team finished fifth at 1:47.36 (Christina Park, Ellen Neveux, Colleen Orwin, Tristyn Edsall).

The women's swimming and diving team returns to dual meet action at Saginaw Valley State on Jan. 10 before hosting Calvin on Jan. 16.
