Colleen Orwin collected Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Swimmer/Diver of the Week honors on Monday for meets through Jan. 31.
Orwin, a junior from Portage, won three events against No. 18 Calvin last week in a close win for the Hornets. She set a personal best mark for the season in the 100 butterfly by turning in a winning time of 57.82.
She swam the third split of the Hornets' 200 medley relay in 26.12 for the fly. Orwin also touched the wall first in the 200 IM in a time of 2:12.73.
This is the second Swimmer of the Week award for Orwin in the 2015-16 season after winning the honor on Dec. 7.
