Madeline Woods on Saturday became the fifth Kalamazoo College swimmer/diver to qualify for the NCAA III Championships in March, the most ever to qualify in the history of the program.
Woods finished fifth on the 3-meter board (436.45) on Friday and ninth on the 1-meter (394.30) on Saturday to earn a spot as one of seven divers in the region to advance to nationals.
Woods joins Colleen Orwin, Tristyn Edsall, Ellen Neveux and Christina Park as qualifiers for the NCAA III Championships to be held March 16-19 in Greensboro, N.C.
