GREENSBORO, N.C. – The swimming and diving NCAA Division III Championships resumed Thursday morning and Kalamazoo College competed in four different events throughout the morning session.

The 200 freestyle relay team of Christina Park, Tristyn Edsall, Colleen Orwin and Ellen Neveux kicked the day off for the Hornets as the group finished 26th overall with a time of 1:37.48.

The group of four placed higher in the 400 medley relay later in the session with a time of 3:57.41 and a 19th place finish.

Sandwiched in between two relays, Orwin swam individually in the 100 butterfly finishing 26th with a time of 57.11.

After the swimming preliminaries concluded, Madeline Woods and the rest of the divers competed in the one-meter dive preliminaries. Woods finished 18th overall and will look to build off her performance as she competes in the three meter dive on Saturday, notably the event she placed higher in at Regionals.

When the NCAA III Championships resume on Friday, Orwin will swim the 200 butterfly and Tristyn Edsall will compete in the 100 breaststroke.
