Woods named honorable mention All-American

GREENSBORO, N.C. – On the final day of the swimming and diving NCAA Division III Championships, Kalamazoo College walked away with another All-American performance.

After placing 16th in the three meter dive preliminaries in the first session on Saturday, Madeline Woods placed 8th in the consolation finals with a score of 397.15 earning honorable mention All-American honors.

This is Woods' first All-American honor in her two-year career.

All four swimmers also competed in the Championships on Saturday. The relay team of Christina Park, Tristyn Edsall, Ellen Neveux and Colleen Orwin took 26th in the preliminaries of the 400 freestyle relay.

Edsall also competed individually placing 46th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.14.

Kalamazoo finished 50th overall with three team points.
