HOLLAND, Mich - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team finished third at the 2017 MIAA Championships. Kalamazoo scored 669 points, finishing just 18 points out of second place.
Colleen Orwin took first place in the 200 butterfly for the second consecutive year, posting an NCAA "B" time of 2:04.41.
Madeline Woods finished second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 419.95.
Kalamazoo took the second and third spots in the 200 breaststroke as Molly Logsdon finished in 2:24.16 and Ellen Neveux finished in 2:27.55.
The 400 free relay team capped off the meet with a third place finish time of 3:34.12 (Park, Orwin, Radermacher, Edsall).
Next up for the Hornet swimming and diving teams are the NCAA III Diving Regionals at Calvin College Feb. 24-25.
