KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Kalamazoo College's Nicki Bailey of the women's swimming and diving team was honored as this week's MIAA Diver on the Week.
Bailey, a sophomore from Grand Rapids, Mich. (Forest Hills Central HS), had a big week this week by winning both the one and three meter boards against Alma.
She posted scored of 280.26 and 276.45 on the one and three meter boards respectively. Her score on the one meter was a new school record.
Bailey also posted scores high enough to be NCAA qualifying scores.
This marks the second time this season that Bailey has been honored as the Diver of the Week in the conference.
Kalamazoo is back in action at Olivet on Feb. 1 and at Calvin on Feb. 2.
