Women's Swimming & Diving:Thursday at MIAA Championships

HOLLAND, Mich. - Thursday marked the second of four nights at the 2019 MIAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

Nicki Bailey had the best performance for the Hornets on Thursday as the sophomore finished second in the 3-meter diving event with an NCAA B-cut score of 430.85. Her point total was just 1.05 out of first place.

The 200 free relay team (McGinnis, Roberts, Washington, Rauhoff) finished fourth with a time of 1:39.71. The 400 medley relay (Anderson, Logsdon, Roberts, Radermacher) also finished fourth at 3:56.89.

Steph Rauhoff finished sixth in the 200 IM (2:12.91) while Olivia Anderson was seventh at 2:13.93.

The Kalamazoo College women are currently in fourth place.

The championships continue through Saturday with swimming prelims each morning at 10 a.m. and finals in the evening at 5:30 p.m.
