KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College Athletic Leadership Council announced Tuesday that Molly Logsdon of the women's swimming and diving team earned Hornet of the Week honors for her efforts at the MIAA Championsips.
Logsdon, a senior from Berkley, Mich. (Berkley HS), capped off her collegiate career by winning the 100 breaststroke at the MIAA Championships with a time of 1:05.55.
Logsdon also finished third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:27.97 on Saturday. Her :29.5 split in the 50 breaststroke was the second fastest time in the conference.
This marks the third season that Logsdon has placed in the top three in the 200 breaststroke.
Kalamazoo's team season wrapped up at the MIAA Championships, but divers Nicki Bailey and Madeline Jump will compete at the NCAA III Diving Regionals March 1-2 at Wabash.
