KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Following the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Championships hosted by Hope over the weekend, the Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was honored with two members being placed on the All-MIAA team. Nicki Bailey and Molly Logsdon were each selected by the MIAA for their efforts this season.

Bailey, a sophomore from Grand Rapids, Mich., began the week by finishing second in the 3-meter diving event while earning an NCAA B-cut score of 430.85. Her final point total was just 1.05 out of first place. Bailey also finished in fourth place in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 422.20. This score put her in NCAA B-cut range for the 1-meter event, as well.

This marks the second straight season that Bailey has been named to the All-MIAA team. She was honored as MIAA Most Valuable Diver during her freshman season.

Logsdon, a senior from Berkley, Mich., is making her second appearance on the All-MIAA team. She was victorious in the 100 breaststroke at the MIAA Championships at 1:05.55. She also finished third in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:27.97. Her :29.5 split in the 200 Medley Relay was the second fastest time in the conference.

Logsdon was also named to the All-MIAA team following her sophomore season in 2016-17. She has finished in the top three in the MIAA in the 200 breaststroke three different years. Her win in the 100 breaststroke this season is her first time as an MIAA champion.

Kalamazoo's team season wrapped up at the MIAA Championships, but Bailey and Madeline Jump will compete at the NCAA III Diving Regionals March 1-2 at Wabash.
