Kalamazoo College's Nicki Bailey and Madeline Jump were recognized with Scholar All-America honors by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America this week.
Bailey, a sophomore biology major from Grand Rapids, Mich. (Forest Hills Central HS), earned CSCAA Scholar All-America honors for the second consecutive year by competing at the NCAA III Swimming and Diving Championships and maintaining at least a 3.50 grade point average.
Jump, a sophomore from Portage, Mich. (Portage Central HS) majoring in political science and French, earned CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar All-America honors by competing in the NCAA III Diving Regionals and maintaining at least a 3.50 grade point average.
The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team previously was recognized as a Scholar All-America team with a 3.42 combined GPA.
