KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Molly Roberts of the Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was named an All-MIAA swimmer following the league championships on March 6.
Roberts, a senior from Grand Blanc, Mich. (Grand Blanc HS), earned three top-five finishes at the MIAA Championships. Her best was a second-place finish in the 200 butterfly race, finishing with a time of 2:06.49. Her time of 2:05.98 from prelims, was the third-fastest time in school history and is currently the fifth-fastest time in Division III. She also placed fourth in the 100 butterfly race and fifth in the 200 backstroke with times of 57.83 and 2:11.08, respectively.
Roberts was also a member of the 400 freestyle relay race which finished fifth on day two of the Championships with a time of 3:42.26. She holds top times for the Hornets through the season in the 100 and 200 butterfly events, including a first-place finish in the 200 fly at the meet against Olivet.
This is Roberts' second time being named All-MIAA for the Hornets.
