Women's Swimming & Diving Hosts Kalamazoo Quad

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team hosted Chicago, DePauw, and Hope in the Kalamazoo Quad on Saturday (Nov. 4) in the Natatorium. The Flying Dutch won the event, with the Maroons coming in second, the Tigers finishing third, and the Hornets coming in fourth.

Frannie Turner led the Hornets in the individual events as she finished third in the 200 Fly (2:24.24) and fifth in the 400 IM (5:02.97). Kalamazoo also had three relays finish in the top eight as the 400 Free (Anni Schnell, Olivia Bagwell, Kelsey Logsdon, Frannie Turner) came in sixth at 3:53.22, the 200 Medley (Anni Schnell, Mary Muenzenmaier, Frannie Turner, Olivia Bagwell) finished seventh at 1:59.02, and the 400 Medley (Anni Schnell, Mary Muenzenmaier, Olivia BagwellKelsey Logsdon) came in eighth at 4:23.79.

Kalamazoo had several other top-eight individual finishes, including:

Sara Cate Finks (Seventh in 1650 Free): 12:03.58
Elizabeth Muenzenmaier (Eighth in 100 Breast): 1:15.26
Hailey Yoder (Eighth in 1650 Free): 12:18.05
Olivia Bagwell (Eighth in 100 Fly): 1:03.65
Elizabeth Muenzenmaier (Eighth in 200 Breast): 2:41.25

The Hornets are scheduled to next compete at the Wooster Invite on Thursday-Saturday (Nov. 30-Dec. 2).
