Becca Zoetewey of the Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team was named the SAAC Women's Hornet of the Week on Tuesday (Jan. 23).
Kalamazoo traveled to Calvin on Jan. 20 to compete in a tri-meet against Calvin and Olivet. The Hornets split the two decisions, falling to the Knights 147-90 and defeating the Comets 164-56.
Zoetewey in the 1M and 3M diving events against Calvin and Olivet, which featured six dives. She won the 1M event with a score of 172.64 while coming in second in the 3M at 173.35As a senior, Zoetewey's best scores from 11 dive events are 323.40 in the 3-meter and 315.65 in the 1-meter. She also has career bests in the six dive events, with 196.30 points in the 3-meter and 189.05 points in the 1-meter.
Kalamazoo will finish the regular season with a home dual against Alma on Saturday (Feb. 3).
