The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team moved up two spots in the most recent Central Region rankings by itatennis.com. The Hornets currently sit at No. 9.
Kalamazoo has won several matches over regionally-ranked opponents so far this season. The Hornets have defeated Wheaton (No. 14), Kenyon (No. 12), and Hope (No. 10).
Sophomore Sarah Woods ranks No. 4 in the Central Region. The Oconomowoc, Wis. native is 14-3 on the season playing all matches at first singles.
The Hornets currently boast an 11-3 record on the season including a perfect 5-0 mark in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play.
