BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team improved to 8-4 (3-0) with a 9-0 victory over Olivet College at Minges Creek on Sunday.
Kalamazoo swept the doubles points before winning five of the six singles matches in straight sets. Kalamazoo won the sixth singles match as a result of an injury.
Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass won 8-0 at one doubles. Olivia Bouchard and Kristen Ellefson won 8-2 at two while Eloise Germic and Katie Clark won 8-2 at three.
Woods and Maria Franco won 6-0, 6-0 at one and two singles, respectively. Siani Johnson won 6-4, 7-6(2) at three singles while Carrie Foura won 6-0, 6-1 at four singles. Alexandria Oswalt won 6-1, 6-2 at five singles.
Kalamazoo is scheduled to compete in Madison, Wis. next weekend.
