Kalamazoo College's Sarah Woods was named MIAA Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday.
A junior from Oconomowoc, Wis. (Divine Savior Holy Angels HS), Woods won all three of her matches at No. 1 singles in straight sets and all three of her No. 1 doubles matches for the Hornets as they won two of three dual matches at a weekend tournament in Madison, Wis. Her singles victories included a 7-6, 7-6 win over regionally-ranked Megan Humphreys of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Woods is being honored as Player of the Week for the second time this season and fifth time in her career.
Kalamazoo (10-5, 3-0 MIAA) returns to action at home this Saturday against Hope at 1 p.m.
