KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Coe College 6-3 in a regional matchup at Stowe Stadium on Sunday.
Kalamazoo entered the match at No. 16 in the central region while the Kohawks are ranked No. 17.
Coe held a 2-1 lead after doubles following a narrow 9-7 win at two.
Sarah Woods and Sabrina Dass won 8-2 at one doubles.
Kalamazoo proceeded to win five of the six singles matches to win the match.
Woods won 6-1, 6-0 at one followed by Dass' 6-1, 6-2 win at two.
Katie Clark won 6-2, 6-0 at five singles before Sonal Bahl clinched the team win with a 7-5, 6-2 win at six.
Maria Franco earned Kalamazoo's sixth point with a 7-5, 6-3 win at three singles.
Kalamazoo returns to MIAA play at Trine next Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m.
