KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Principia College 9-0 on Saturday in the Markin Center.
Kalamazoo won the three doubles matches easily before winning five of the six singles matches in straight sets.
Maria Franco defeated No. 35 Paige Cooley 6-3, 1-6, 10-4 at one singles in the most competitive match of the day.
Kalamazoo returns to action Sunday afternoon when the Hornets host Denison at 2 p.m. (or after the conclusion of the 10 a.m. men's match.
