KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Illinois Tech 8-1 inside the Markin Center on Sunday.
Kalamazoo won all three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches.
Ella Knight and Maddie Wojcik won 8-0 at three doubles. Meghan Killmaster and Bella Russo won 8-1 at two while Laura Hanselman and Sophie Zhuang won 8-5 at one.
Knight won 6-1, 6-2 at four singles before Hanselman clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-3 win at one singles.
Zhuang won 6-2, 6-1 at three singles while Killmaster and Julia Bachmann each won 6-0, 6-0 at five and six singles, respectively.
Kalamazoo is back in action next Sunday, March 8 at Denison.
