KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to Case Western Reserve University inside the Markin Center on Friday. The visiting Spartans, ranked No. 15 nationally at the end of last season, improved to 6-0 with the win. Kalamazoo fell to 0-2 on the season.
Kalamazoo's closest matches were an 8-4 loss at three doubles (Ella Knight, Meghan Killmaster), and a three-set loss at two singles (Renee Torres).
The Hornets are back in action Saturday with a noon match against Oberlin College inside the Markin Center.
