Volleyball wins in four over Olivet

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team defeated Olivet in four sets in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play on Friday.

Kalamazoo jumped on top early and won the first set, 25-16. Olivet responded by winning the second set, 25-21.

The Hornet offense came alive again as the Hornets won the final two sets, 25-17, 25-14.

Kalamazoo hit a season-best .287 in the match while Olivet hit just .093.

Nya Greenstone led the Hornets with 17 kills and 13 digs.

Kelsey Hill added 13 digs while Kaela Van Til finished with 12. 

Alex Gothard had 38 assists while Logan Horejsi had a team-high 16 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Saturday with a conference match at Albion at 11 a.m.
