KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team defeated Adrian in four sets (23-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-22) on Saturday.
The Hornets were led offensively by Madi Goodman with 15 kills. Seniors Rachel Girard and Shelby Suseland added 14 and 11 kills respectively in the final match of their college careers.
Kelly Nickelson tallied 26 digs for the Hornets while Girard added 24 of her own. Maddie Wojcik and Sophie Woodhams each picked up 21 digs, as well.
Setter Zoey Ammon assisted Hornet hitters 28 times in the win.
The win was the 563rd of Coach Jeanne Hess' 35-year career. Saturday's match was her last as head coach of the Hornets.
