Volleyball Falls to Albion in Four

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in four sets to Albion College inside the Anderson Athletic Center Tuesday night.

Albion won the first set 25-18 before Kalamazoo evened the scored with a 25-21 win in set two.

The Britons took set three, 25-18, before narrowly winning set four, 26-24.

Albion hit .171 in the match compared to .111 for Kalamazoo. 

Madi Goodman led the Hornets with 14 kills and a .412 attack percentage. Megan Williams added eight kills while Hannah Kerns had seven. Lindsey Nedd and Maria Katrantzi each finished with six.

Grace Kraft posted 43 assists in the match while Taylor Ferguson led the team with 24 digs.

McKenna Hepler (18), Maddie Wojcik (17), and Grace Kraft (16) also reached double-figures in digs.

Ashley Rill tallied four service aces.

Kalamazoo is back in action Saturday, Oct. 26 with a pair of non-conference matches at Wheaton College.
