BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated in three sets at Division II Ferris State University on Wednesday, 25-18, 25-13, 25-22.
Hannah VanderLugt led the Hornets with five kills. Rorie Dougherty had four kills with four assists.
Kayla Ridenour had three kills with a team-high nine digs. Charlotte Ruiter also had three kills.
Ashley Rill and Morgan Shearer each had three assist. McKenna Hepler had seven digs while Shearer finished with six.
The Hornets host Trine in a JV contest Friday before returning to conference play at home next Wednesday against Alma.
