Volleyball Falls to No. 17 Hope

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in three sets at home to No. 17 Hope College on Saturday, 25-15, 25-18, 25-21.

Kalamazoo was within two (13-11) midway through the third set and trailed by just one late (21-20) before Hope scored four of the last five points to win the set and the match.

Brittany Miller led the Hornets with four kills.

Sara Reathaford and Jana Molby each had four assists.

Morgan Shearer, Molby and Halley Johnson each had six digs. Reathaford and Rachel Meston each had five.

Reathaford had a team-high three aces.

Kalamazoo is back in action at home against Trine University on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
