CHICAGO, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team finished 17th at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational on Saturday.
Anna Varitek led the Hornets with a time of 20:11 to finish 53rd overall.
Rachael Gallap came in 63rd with a time of 20:19.
Gwendolyn Flatland (152, 22:12), Kathryn LeVasseur (170, 22:42), and Rachel Cornell (196, 23:10) were the other top five finishers for Kalamazoo.
The Hornets are scheduled to be back in action next Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Louisville Classic.
