OBERLIN, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team finished 14th at the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin on Saturday.

The Hornets placed ahead of Albion and Saint Mary's heading into the MIAA Championships in two weeks.

"The women had a solid day on a course that was in rough shape after days of rain," said Head Coach Kyle Morrison. "Despite getting out to a slow start, the women maintained composure and battled back through the field."

Rachael Gallap was 35th overall with a time of 23:29.

Paige Anderson finished 56th, Anna Varitek 66th, Alison Hankins 89th and Grace McGlynn ran in the fith position for the Hornets today.

Lifetime bests were run by Anderson, McGlynn, and Emily Haigh who dropped over a minute and a half off her previous best time.

The MIAA Championships are scheduled for Oct. 29 at Saint Mary's.
