My Summer
This summer, I studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal, but before leaving I interned at Girls on the Run. I've coached Girls on the Run for 3 years, so to see what goes on behind the scenes to make the season run smoothly for the coaches and girls was really enlightening. The environment at that office was also a really positive place to work. They show you can be highly professional yet personable and compassionate. In the future I hope to attend law school and work in a corporate law firm. Many firms stress the importance of pro bono work and I feel that my experience with a non profit will help me better understand and serve non profit organizations I may represent in the future.
What's Next
Until then, I look forward to my last away trips with my team and just making the most of my final season.
