KALAMAZOO, Mich. - One day removed from being named MIAA Position Player of the Week, Chase Coselman has earned recognition as the SAAC men's Hornet of the Week as well.
Coselman had a strong offensive showing for the Hornets in their high-scoring doubleheader sweep of Albion on Sunday. In game one's 10-1 win, he contributed two hits. In the afternoon 11-1 victory, he exploded for three RBI with a single to right field in the sixth inning. He also had two walks and two trips to home plate. Coselman helped the defense with a 1.000 fielding percentage from second base.
Kalamazoo returns to action as they host Trine on Saturday, March 13. The first game of the doubleheader series is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m.
