Kalamazoo College's Chase Coselman was selected to the 2021 CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-District 6 Team today.
A senior from Fenton, Mich., Coselman had a cumulative 3.63 GPA as a business major at the time of the nomination. He graduated from K in June with a 3.66 GPA.
Coselman earned Academic All-District honors at the designated hitter position. He earned Academic All-District honors as an infielder last spring.
Coselman hit .400 this spring with 10 doubles, two triples, three home runs, and 31 RBIs. He helped the Hornets to a 25-15 record, the second-highest win total in school history.
Coselman hit .370 for his career, the third-highest career average in program history. In addition to his career average, Coselman finished in the top-10 in career hits, doubles, triples, runs, and RBIs.
CoSIDA District 6 of NCAA Division III includes colleges and universities in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. As an Academic All-District selection, Coselman advances to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.
