Jeff Victor
Title: Assistant Coach

Jeff Victor, in his fourth overall season as an assistant coach at Kalamazoo, enters his third year in charge of the pitching staff for the Hornets in 2018.

His first two seasons leading the Hornets pitching staff have been seasons to remember as the Hornets have amassed back to back seasons with 20 wins, including the school’s first 30 win season in 2017. In 2016, the Hornets appeared in the NCAA Regional for the first time in school history. Victor played a key role in the Hornets earning one of their first All-American player awards in program history (pitcher Ryan Orr).

Victor graduated from Calvin College and pitched for the Knights and played an essential role in their success aiding them in making back-to-back MIAA tournament appearances during his junior and senior campaigns in 2013 and 2014. He led Calvin his senior season with a 0.30 E.R.A. and was second on the team with five wins. Prior to pitching at Calvin, Victor accepted a scholarship to play at Olivet Nazarene University where he played for one season prior to transferring.

A graduate of Holland Christian High School, Victor played under Kalamazoo head coach, Mike Ott, for four years as a starting shortstop and pitcher. He was also a member of the District 9 All-Star team that played in the Big League World Series in South Carolina.

Jeff currently resides in Grand Rapids, Mich.
