Cliff Price joined the Hornets' coaching staff in 2011 and worked primarily with the linebackers. He began working with the defensive backs as well in 2012.
Price graduated from Albion College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in sports management and political science. He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School for a year before completing a master's degree in sports management at Western Michigan University in 2010.
Price was a linebacker for the Britons in 2001 before an injury ended his career. He was part of a team that won an MIAA championship and was ranked in the top 10 in the country. A native of Portage, Mich., Price played for a Portage Central team that won two conference championships and was ranked as high as third in the state.
Price worked with Western Michigan University's football program from 2009-11, starting out as a football operations intern, then working on defensive quality control, and finishing as assistant recruiting coordinator.
Cliff resides in Kalamazoo.
