SEVEN LAKES, N.C. – The Kalamazoo College men's golf team placed second Tuesday in a four team invitational at Seven Lakes Country Club with a team score of 320, eight strokes behind first place Calvin College.
Phil Ritchie tied for second overall with a score of 75 to lead Kalamazoo. Nick Ludka and Travis Veenhuis each shot a six-over 78 tying for fourth place.
David Smith was the final Hornet to contribute to the Kalamazoo team score shooting an 89.
Next up for the Hornets is a trip to the Rose-Hulman Spring Invitational on April 1 and 2.
