The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaking 2-1 game to No. 5 Ohio Wesleyan Saturday evening. OWU defeated the Hornets in overtime.
OWU got the scoring started 16 minutes into the contest but the Hornets quickly responded.
In the 30th minute, Jordan Veillette slotted a ball past the Ohio Wesleyan keeper. Veillette settled a flick on off a set piece from midfield.
The two teams remained all square at the end of regulation but OWU ended the game with its second goal of the night less than three minutes into the first overtime period.
Kalamazoo, 1-1 overall, will travel to Capital tomorrow afternoon for another non-conference match up. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
