Dan Thornton

Dan Thorton joined the Kalamazoo College women's basketball coaching staff prior to the beginning of the 2015-16 season.
Thorton brings more than 15 years of coaching experience to the Kalamazoo staff after previously coaching at Kalamazoo Central High School, Lawton High School and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
During his time as a high school coach, Thorton helped more than 300 student-athletes continue their playing careers at the collegiate level. He was the founder of the Kalamazoo Heat Girls Club which has helped place student-athletes at some of the top universities in the country including Michigan, Florida and Auburn.
He currently resides in Portage.
