KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team was defeated 5-3 by Hope College in the MIAA Tournament Championship match Friday inside the Markin Center.
Kalamazoo earned one point in doubles, an 8-5 win by Meghan Killmaster/Maddie Hurley at two doubles.
Hurley won 6-1, 6-1 at four singles. Renee Torres won 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 at one singles before Hope closed out the match.
Kalamazoo won the MIAA regular season championship with a 7-0 league record.
