ANGOLA, Ind. - Members of the Kalamazoo College men's and women's cross country team competed in distance events at an indoor track meet hosted by Trine University on Saturday.
The top finishers for Kalamazoo in each event were as follows:
Women
5000 Meters - Rachael Gallap (19:18.87) - 4th
1 Mile - Anna Varitek (5:44.00) - 2nd
800 Meters - Hannah Schurman (2:47.68) - 12th
3000 Meters - Anna Varitek (12:21.21) - 8th
Men
5000 Meters - Preston Grossling (17:34.12) - 8th
1 Mile - Keegan Sweeney (5:21.04) -14th
800 Meters - Keegan Sweeney (2:30.10) - 21st
3000 Meters - Sam Meyer (10:54.13) -14th
The Hornets are scheduled to compete again at Trine on Feb. 27.
