ADRIAN, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost 7-6 in 10 innings at Adrian on Tuesday.
Tuesday's scheduled 9-inning game completed the originally scheduled doubleheader from March 30.
Kalamazoo led the No. 12/19 Bulldogs 3-1 after three innings, 4-2 after four, and 6-3 after five. Adrian tied it up with three runs in the seventh and the score remained tied at 6-6 after the regulation nine innings.
Kalamazoo loaded the bases with one out in the top of the 10th, but was unable to score.
Adrian took advantage of a leadoff walk in the bottom of the 10th, sacrifice bunted to second, and scored the winning run on a single to right center.
Max Moran led Kalamazoo with three hits, including a home run, with two RBIs.
Stefan Leclerc had two doubles in the game while Jordan Wiley had two hits and two stolen bases.
Kalamazoo is back in action Wednesday with a makeup doubleheader at Trine. The Hornets are scheduled to complete the series with Adrian at home on April 16.
