Kalamazoo College's Greg Kearns was named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.
Kearns was instrumental in Kalamazoo's 13-6 win at Rockford University (Ill.) on Saturday, kicking a pair of 30-yard field goals in the first quarter and an extra point following the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter.
A native of Howell, Mich., the sophomore Kearns is 8-of-12 on field goals and 7-of-9 on extra points this season.
Kalamazoo is scheduled to play its final game of the season at Albion this Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m.
